I often print the traces of my wet feet on the dry rocks. The imprints of my feet inevitably disappear after a few minutes. These finite traces are like symbols of humanity’s mortality and may seem completely different as an issue from my seemingly permanent stone carvings. However, there is a link between them as both the impermanent and permanent are connected to water and both can be found in the river.
